Q:   What is the difference between a request and a complaint?
A:   The first time you report a service need, it should be entered as a request. Once you have requested a service, if you are unsatisfied with the results or response, it may be appropriate to file a complaint. A service request is routed to the county employee who is designated to complete the selected service type. Complaints are routed to the county employee who is designated to handle them for the selected service type.
