On July 27, 2010 the Public Index search functionality was updated with a change to address the search results when using non-alphanumeric characters in name searches (such as the apostrophe in O'Neil). Previous searches returned an error that may not have been visible when pop-up windows were disabled on your web browser. This could have produced incomplete search results. The updated version of the Public Index now allows the use of non-alphanumeric characters, including an apostrophe, within the name search.
